Job Title:  Vice President of Marketing & Sales

Location: Denver, CO (or remote)

TalenTrust (www.talentrust.com) is a mid-sized recruitment services and consulting firm built on the philosophy that when you put your people first, everything else falls into place. We call this a “Camelot” culture, where our leaders put people first and Dare to Care about our team members on a holistic level.

We have successfully worked virtually as a company from several states, for many years, and long before “remote” became a trend. We meet in person about ten times per year. Although our priority is finding the right person to fill this role, we’d prefer that you live within easy travel distance to Denver where we’re centered.

Looking for ‘Camelot’? Apply here!

Our Vice President of Marketing & Sales will lead both marketing and sales - because marketing sets the table for sales. The VP is a key member of our executive leadership team, reporting directly to our CEO, Kathleen Quinn Votaw (who is a driver and visionary with a commitment to having fun on the road). In this role you will have responsibility for and authority over marketing and sales execution to secure new and retain existing customers. Bottom line is that you will GROW REVENUE / Gross Margin and Profitability while inspiring and leading others. We will ask you for proof of your excellent performance in a similar role and for exceptional references, preferably in the recruiting industry.

Pay Range: Anticipated total compensation of $100k+, including base salary, bonuses, plus commission. Other benefits include:

  • Remote opportunity with flexibility
  • Extremely generous PTO (paid time off)
  • Medical, dental, & vision insurance + LTD, STD, & Life insurance
  • 401k

You’ll be a fit with our culture and in this position if you:

  • Can put your team and colleagues first and your ego last.
  • Have a passion and talent for marketing and sales in a service industry along with a track record of success.
  • Want a job that feels like a calling and supports your desired lifestyle.
  • Feel at home working from home, or from anywhere that works for you.
  • Thrive on being an “intrapreneur” with a focus on growth and innovation.
  • Enjoy working at a fast pace where you may sometimes get it right but sometimes get it wrong.
  • Are motivated by overcoming challenges and solving problems yourself, without being told what to do.
  • Realize that as a member of the leadership team, you don’t have to have all the answers, but you do have to lead with empathy.
  • Insist on being treated as the adult you are and trusted to make decisions that allow you to get the job done.
  • Want to have fun while you work hard.

Here’s what we think makes us a great place to work:

  • We’ve created a rare and treasured Camelot where people come first and everything else is second.
  • We live what we believe while helping other companies retain and recruit the talented people they need to grow.
  • We are fiercely committed to living our core values, not just reading them on a wall.
  • We deeply care about one another and think of ourselves as a close family where everyone is treated with respect and given support in all things.
  • We’ve created a culture where everyone works hard, opinions are welcome and valued, and feedback is acted upon.
  • We have a strong twenty-plus year history, including overcoming a few growing pains here and there, to build the strong community we are all proud to represent.
  • Our creative, industry-disrupting CEO has a never-ending number of ideas to challenge and inspire us. She is also an author and popular speaker whose thought leadership helps build our brand and reputation nationwide (which in turn supports our marketing and sales efforts).

Please apply if you see yourself in this role and can tell us how our version of Camelot will allow you to bring your best self to work and make a meaningful contribution. We look forward to meeting you.
