    The Design/Build project manager will oversee large custom home projects from initial phases of design through construction and completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading internal design/build teams through development and management of scope, cost and schedule; and will be the primary point of contact with the client to assure continuity and alignment of expectations.


    Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provide leadership and management of a multidisciplinary team from project design development through construction completion, ensuring project is aligned with scope and budget and that the client is happy with the end product.
    • Provide leadership to clients and team for change management and risk management.
    • Align with the project proposal and develop an execution plan that ensures timely and on-budget delivery of the design and construction of the project scope.
    • Lead and support a team of design-build professionals to ensure compliance with customer/client requirements.
    • Lead and support team of project delivery professionals to deliver administrative aspects of projects including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, change management and proposal preparation.
    • Coordinate between design, architecture, technical services and construction to ensure the groups are engaged and proactively address project related issues.
    • Act as the client primary point of contact including coordination and communication with the client as to the project work plan, ongoing project status, and final project delivery.
    • Ensure accurate tracking of budget, cost, forecast and schedule.


    Requirements for Hire:

    • Candidate should have experience in custom design-build project management.
    • Progressive experience leading multidisciplinary teams through project design development and ensuring project alignment with scope and budget.
    • Candidate must have experience with "greenfield" vertical projects (ground up builds)
    • Preferred candidate will have PMP Certification or other formal Project Management training
    •  Degree in construction, architecture, design or engineering preferred.
    • Ability to innovate around obstacles and creatively conquer challenges
