    What exactly will you be doing? Good question:

    As an Account Manager, you'll make phone calls to existing and new customers. You'll work the full lifecycle of the sales process, including talking with prospective customers, selling our products, reviewing contracts, and managing the approval process.


    On any given day, you might be:

    • Helping us achieve sales and gross profit goals within a defined market territory by proactively seeking new business opportunities within existing customer base and via leads for new customers
    • Maintaining customer files in our relationship management system, including documenting current quotes, correspondence, plans, problems, etc.
    • Advising our District Sales Managers (DSMs) of all pending quotations, bids, leads, competitive information, and sales possibilities - you're basically their "right-hand person"
    • Keeping in touch with the Purchasing Department, so you can inform each other on stock levels, competitive market pricing, vendor pricing discrepancies, etc.

    A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, and a college degree in business, communications, marketing, or something similar is great if you have it, but not necessary.
