    Day to day:


    Project development engineer is a highly driven, customer service and continuous improvement focused professional that delivers comprehensive front end loading project estimating and technical services. The project development engineer has the primary function of fostering strong stakeholder partnerships with Commercial, Business Development, Operations, and Regional Technical Services work groups. Through this collaborative approach, the project development staff applies their experience and skill to produce key scope/cost/schedule deliverables used to drive decisions for advancing projects through FEL-1/2/3 stages from concept to execution for key producers which is critical to achieving objectives of operational excellence, capital efficiency, and market competitiveness.  


    What you will be responsible for:

    • Support 3 - 4 key producers, not just in a region, but across multiple regions
    • Continually assessing, managing, and prioritizing FEL project assignment workload with customers, optimizing customers’ existing connects and planning future growth.
    • Understand gathering operations, hydraulic modeling/flow, compression, gas processing, and NGL/Residue markets.
    • Developing and fostering strong relationships with key internal and external customers/stakeholders (producer/operations/technical services/commercial/marketing)



    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical Preferred)_
    • 5 or more years of Midstream oil and gas (pipeline and facility) operations,
    • Engineering, and project management experience
    • Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
    • Intermediate level of proficiency in simulation software (VMG, HYSYS, ProMax, Winflow)
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Commitment to internal and external customer service
    • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
    • Flexible and adaptable to rapid and continuous changes in the work environment
    • Willing and able to travel up to 20% of the time given business needs.
