    What We’re Looking For:

    The Controller will bring experience, energy and drive to a team of professionals in a fast-growing construction services firm.  The ideal Controller will have a strong foundation in GAAP and be interested in addressing more complex issues involving all areas of accounting.


    What You’ll Be Doing At A Glance:

    • Overseeing all accounting functions of the company
    • Producing financial reports; preparing end of month financial statements
    • Submitting weekly certificates; have bank relationship experience
    • Maintaining accounting records, controls and budgets, and accounts receivable/payable
    • Managing cash flow and communicating with vendors for payment
    • Providing analytics- measuring and managing trends
    • Running the order process

    What You Need to Succeed:

    • Experience in the construction services or civil engineering industry.
    • Demonstrated leadership experience as a Chief Financial Officer, Director of Accounting, or Controller for a small to mid-sized company.
    • Experience managing 13-week cash flow in a timely manner 
    • Experience building relationships with banks and submitting weekly certificates.
    • Vendor payment collections experience.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Experience working collaboratively with key players, a CEO, and a Board of Directors
    • Advanced MS Excel skills
    • A college degree
