We are looking for a smart, enthusiastic, hard-working and analytical candidate to join our data team at APR. We are seeking an individual with strong analytic skills and technology experience to help us measure, analyze and solve complex problems. This candidate will work within our Data team and partner with internal stakeholders to help drive our business and our reporting to clients.  We are looking for someone who is passionate about data and data-driven decision making, uncompromisingly detail oriented, smart, efficient and driven to help us succeed. You’ll be responsible for the coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.


Essential Duties

The scope of the Data Analyst responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


Data Analyst

  • Create and execute a program for company benchmarks including data analysis methodology, team and roles, scoping and accessibility of the data
  • Write high quality queries to retrieve and analyze data
  • Ensure data accuracy by validating data for new and existing tools
  • Respond with urgency to high priority requests from clients and senior APR business leaders
  • Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for secondary datasets
  • Work with large multinational corporations



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Intelligence, Economics or related technical field
  • Working with complex data sets / big data
  • Experience writing queries to elicit the appropriate data sets for reports.
  • Expert Microsoft Office skills, specifically in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a team environment, collaborate
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Familiarity with marketing/media data/analytics
  • Interest and/or knowledge in marketing/advertising
  • Cost modeling experience necessary


Working Conditions

  • Ability to work in APR home office location or an APR office
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Work is completed in a standard office environment
  • Sitting approximately 90% of time and working at computer 90% of time
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time, stoop, reach, bend throughout the course of the work day
  • Ability to work on computers including repetitive use of a keyboard and mouse for long periods throughout the course of the work day
  • Ability to vary work day and location as needed, based on the needs of APR staff nationally, globally, and associated meetings
