About the Opportunity

The Role

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will coordinate the company’s efforts to grow and maintain existing relationships within the Latin American region with an important emphasis in Mexico. The RSM will represent the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, while coordinating field activity, promotional activity and quoting activity to ensure that the needs and expectations are met by the company.

 

The (RSM) will work closely with the International Inside Sales Coordinator assigned within this region   to coordinate the necessary field activities to maximize profitable growth and to target the key buying locations of the assigned accounts.  This position reports to the Director of Sales, Americas.

 

Responsibilities Include

  • Pursue new distributors
  • Manage growth programs with top customers
  • Manage and maintain existing channel relationships including customer visits, product detailing and identifying competitive threats
  • Provide product training
  • Identify and proactively address product and program gaps
  • Attend regional tradeshow as needed for business growth
  • Monthly business reviews with Key Distributors
  • Achieves assigned sales budget in designated LATAM Region
  • Meets assigned expectations for Profitability, New Product Sales Vitality and Top Line Growth
  • Coordinates the involvements of sales support personnel, so that growth objectives and customers’ expectations are met.
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
  • Enlists the support of sales administration, marketing resources, operational resources and other sales and management professionals as needed

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 3-5 years of B2B sales experience with experience in Industrial Markets working with Distributors and End Users
  • Fully Bilingual ( English and Spanish)
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and a CRM System (SugarCrm preferred)
  • Expected travel will be 50% - 75% with a strong emphasis in Mexico
