Position Overview:

As their Business Systems Analyst/ Project Manager, you will serve as an experienced lead of Infrastructure and IT related projects and activities as well as be the lead for small to medium activities who understands company goals and objectives.  You will enable collaboration with cross-functional teams with the IT department and work closely with several leaders within the various IT departments. 

 

As a successful Business Systems Analyst, you will also translate strategies into roadmaps and requirements ensuring resolution with the utmost effectiveness and efficiency.  You will be responsible for the research and development of business cases, designs, configurations, implementation plans and overall management of project related activities; along with maintaining budgets, negotiate contracts, work closely with 3rd parties, vendors and other critical personnel. 

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop and publish routine and on-demand reports and analysis from both SQL server and Business Objects to support continuous improvement in maintenance and reliability of equipment assets
  • Support, lead, or champion the ongoing maintenance and development of appropriate policies, procedures, guidelines, job plans, and training tools in addition to maintaining Maximo master data through adherence to governance documents and internal practices
  • Act as a SME for work order tracking, planning, preventative maintenance, inventory, assets, locations and IBM planning & scheduling modules in Maximo
  • Work with regional Maximo specialists and Maintenance Work Process SME’s to improve tool utilization, drive consistency, and improve functionality of Maximo and adherence to the established process
  • Support company-wide project implementation, training material development, change management, and provide mentorship related to EAM

  

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Experience and knowledge related to relevant industry maintenance and reliability processes and practices including planning and scheduling
  • Strong computer skills including Maximo (or similar CMMS), SQL database, Business Objects, and MS Office
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with the ability to travel by both air and car (up to 5%)
  • Ability to work within an operating gas plant; Knowledge or understanding of typical oil, gas, and/or petrochemical processing is a strong plus
  • High school diploma required, college degree is a plus
