Floorz is looking for an Executive Project Manager to join their growing team!

Floorz is one of the largest flooring contractors in Colorado. We are a full service flooring company that provides and installs carpet, carpet tile, vinyl products, ceramic tile, stone tile, hardwood, rubber products, and raised floors.  Our expertise in choreographing construction and flooring installation is unmatched in the market. 


What We’re Looking For
The Executive Project Manager will be responsible for strategic project planning, resource allocation, and budget management. You’ll also be building and nurturing relationships with our clients, general contractors, and suppliers. We need someone who can understand the value of a sense of urgency, who can take responsibility for shepherding projects, and someone who can be as resourceful as MacGyver when the need arises!


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed
  • Preparing and managing project documentation, including subcontractor work orders, print drawings, safety plans, etc.
  • Tracking cost changes and managing budget impacts
  • Managing project RFIs
  • Overseeing utilization of resources, labor, materials and equipment, and ensuring their procurement at most cost-effective terms
  • Managing change order process, job scopes, and budgets
  • Managing subcontractor labor
  • Identifying and resolving project challenges
  • Serving as primary client contact and review the deliverable prepared by the team before passing onto client

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years related construction project management experience or operations management experience (certifications on top, like a PMP or CMP, are awesome!)
  • Experience working with subcontractors
  • Strong software skills
  • Ability to multi-task and high level of organizational skills
  • Positive, get-it-done attitude
