POSITION SUMMARY

Energy Central’s Community Outreach Specialist will be responsible for bringing new contributors into online community groups through extensive cold calling and constant outreach to prospective thought leaders in the power industry. In addition to cold calling and constant contacting of prospective contributors, the Community Outreach Specialist will utilize networking, online research and social media to identify and contact potential new contributors

 

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

  • Identifies and connects with key influencers in the power industry via phone to join and engage in the community through posts, shared links, Q&A.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with key contributors and members of the community to drive continued activity, connections, & content.
  • Meet key engagement metrics as established by the Energy Central team including but not limited to retention rates, Q&A participants, answers, and number of posts
  • Work directly with sponsors of the community to ensure they are engaged within the community and that they receive the full value of their sponsorship. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Solid phone outreach experience and interest either via inside sales, recruiting or sales of a service.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and independent thinker
  • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with a proven track record of driving results
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong ability to develop long-lasting relationships

 

COMPENSATION
