Key Responsibilities

  • To increase the partnership and financial profitability of Power & Tel by proactively selling products and services within existing and new customers in the data center market
  • Meets and exceeds sales and margin goals for assigned territories/markets
  • Stays within expense budget and turns in reports timely
  • Interfaces regularly with AMs and management in developing sales strategies and target accounts
  • Interfaces regularly with vendors to maximize our relationship and their support
  • Active solicitation of potential customers found largely through individual efforts, from existing client leads in partnership with other District Sales Managers, and/or provided through lead generation efforts.
  • Participates in tradeshows/conventions, product promotions, training classes, and participates actively in local/national data center associations
  • Development of strong vendor relations
  • Other duties as assigned

Location

This position can be located anywhere in the Dallas, Texas area

 

Experience Required

The successful candidate will have 1 to 2 years previous Account Management, Sales, Vendor Management and/or Channel Sales experience and expertise in the data center industry.

Minimum Educational Requirements

This position requires a High School Diploma or its equivalent. A degree in Business Management or Marketing is preferred, but not required given proficient skill set and applicable experience.
