POSITION SUMMARY

The Lead Shipping/Crater has responsibility for overall management and direction of the shipping department. This includes ensuring the accuracy of shipping department orders and that the crates are accurately and safely loaded onto the appropriate trucks for transport. Shift is 6:30 am to 3 pm.

 

 

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in shipping/packing environment; combined with leadership experience working with a team in an informal or formal capacity
  • Must be able to drive and operate a forklift
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must be very organized and have the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English
    • Must be able to read and understand packing slips
  • Maintain and adhere to good safety practices
  • Establish and maintain a clean work area every day

COMPENSATION:   Position offers a competitive starting hourly rate based on experience.  Employees are eligible to participate in an exceptional benefits package that includes 401K plan plus health benefits (medical, dental, FSA, Life insurance).
