Symmetry Solutions is looking for a SOLIDWORKS Application Engineer to join their dynamic team in Brooklyn Park, MN. Areas of Responsibility:

 

  • Provide technical customer support via telephone, email and live collaborative desktop conferencing applications and services
  • Work in unison with the technical support team to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with our sales consultants to stimulate, encourage, establish and develop account relationships for SOLIDWORKS products and services
  • Identify, evaluate and respond to key business issues of the customer and/or prospect and develop, present and demonstrate SOLIDWORKS capabilities as it relates to those issues
  • Introduce and integrate SOLIDWORKS and solution partner resources to the customer to demonstrate capability, educate customer personnel and facilitate SOLIDWORKS success
  • Communicate effectively with SOLIDWORKS personnel and SOLIDWORKS channel management to appropriately integrate SOLIDWORKS resources in the sales and customer service processes 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 2 Years of industry experience with SolidWorks software
  • Ability to quickly determine customer technical problems and assist customers in troubleshooting software problems via telephone and email. 
  • Excellent communication skills along with patience working with customers
  • Two years of industry knowledge of SOLIDWORKS and some solution partner products from a user and/or administrator perspective.
  • Ability to administer and use Windows-based computer systems and to troubleshoot computer software and hardware malfunctions.
  • Strong customer service skills required in order to identify, evaluate and respond to key customer issues
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Properly document and follow-up on all support cases using the CRM software
  • Visit customers onsite to implement and upgrade SOLIDWORKS software and facilitate customer success
  • Team Player
  • Work in unison with the technical support team to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with the sales team to stimulate, encourage, establish and develop account relationships for SOLIDWORKS products and services
